Women
of Trinity holds as its mission ...to support the spiritual growth of women of the parish. Through Christ-centered nurturing
we are strengthened to respond to Gods call to serve
and love one another in our congregation, community, and beyond. All
Women of the Parish are encouraged to gather, grow, and serve
with us!
Our first gathering will be held Thursday, September 2. This year’s “theme” is “HANDS”, and we’ll explore “Creative Hands” as we make slate-paintings to share with the Lutheran Home in Hollidaysburg, “Working Hands”, as we explore the ELCA’s mission fields, “Giving Hands” as we have our annual “pig-in-a poke auction to benefit missions, et al. Plan to join us, and, of course, to bring a friend!
Thanks to Linda McElroy who is coordinating this year’s programs, and to Pat Dorner, for her faithful service as the group’s coordinator over past years.
The first gathering of the year will be focused on the theme “with our…Creative Hands.” Women are welcome to meet in Trinity Hall on Thursday, September 2, at 6:00. The evening will be opened with Scripture and thoughts for the group. The evening’s focus of supporting others will be accomplished as Leigh Ann Gronborg leads us in creating slate board paintings that will be donated to Alleghany Lutheran Home in Hollidaysburg. The slates will be sold at the Home’s “Autumn Fest” held in September. Proceeds from the slates will be used for the home’s senior activities. So that preparations can be made, please sign up on the Women of Trinity Sheet in Trinity Hall.
